Dolraan: It's never easy being a hero.

Blade’s Edge Mountains

The harsh winds of outland tore through the myriad stone spikes that gave the blade’s edge mountains their name, howling and whistling as they passed. The winds were exceptionally strong, and would be for several days hence, marking the beginning of what passed for a spring season on the shattered world.

Don't worry, I'm not dead

Lenresh Worldheart's picture

Hey guys, just thought I'd post this to make sure people don't start thinking I've fallen off the face of the earth again. I'm still here, still active, just been bogged down by school and prepping for several warhammer 40k tournaments for the past few weeks. I've got a week off coming up in a few days so you'll see me, back online and annoying as ever.

In the meantime! I thought I'd leave this children's poem I made in an attempt to keep me sane for ten minutes. If you want to, you can imagine your characters hearing this odd little song being sung by small children as the play in the streets of Stormwind

Long time coming

Linu Theillos's picture

Sorry for those who thought I was posting a story blog, though that too is something that's a long time in coming and something I should start doing again, but we'll save that for another time.

What I'd like to do this evening is to express my thanks and gratitude to the good people of the guild that have taken me in and done more than there share to try to help me feel welcome and a part of the team. I've always tried to do my best to help out folks and "earn my keep" as it were to pay back everyone's kindness.

[Tzeidel] Practice

They were all lined up in a single row across the dusty face of the practice field, dull training blades in hand and ill-fitting armor hanging from their frames. She stood at the furthest end of the field, the looming shadows of the male recruits on either side almost engulfing her.

Last Word

Lirriel looked at the puppies playing among the heated rocks, tumbling over one another and their mother's feet as both heads nipped at each other.

"NO." Drauglos said firmly.

The Shattering: Crisara (very very late)

Crisara slept fitfully in her apartment beneath the Slaughtered Lamb.  Her dreams were disturbing and confusing.  A mix of memory from her time with Victoria and the evil she’d committed, her parents and sister when they were alive and well, her mother and sister’s deaths, and a confusing jumble of molten rock hurtling across her vision and drowning.  She woke several times in the early night, forcing herself to calm down and return to slumber.  She wished fervently that Wacune was home instead of off in Durotar or the Barrens or wherever Staroda sen

Home Sweet Home

Laelan knelt on the carpeted floor of the nursery room with both hands covering her eyes. She couldn't help but grin as she could almost feel the anticipation pouring from the small figure sitting in front of her.

RIP Serpent Spread

Cerwis's picture

On this day, January 11, 2011, the Survival Hunters of World of Warcraft had something great taken from them by the cruel, cruel devs.

Serpent Spread now affects up to Four Targets.

The rest of the patch notes are here

(I have no idea what happened to the font, silly drupal!)

Dolraan: There's more than one way to be a hero.

Drogar's picture

It was a standard winter morning in Stormwind; threatening rain. Dolraan was awakened from his sleep by a very insistent paw on his large, dwarven nose, and a petulant meowing that informed him he was late in providing food to his beloved and loyal pet, and that he had also managed to sleep in somehow.  His cat Cassandra lept off the bed as he sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and letting out an impressive yawn that popped his jaw.

[Anatevka] Men

Rhianon's picture

Fine steam tendrils rose from the cup of tea resting on the table before me, filling the air of my chilly sitting room with a moist warmth and the heavy scent of tea leaves. Although the Stormwind town home had been my residence for the past month, I still had trouble abiding with the shadowy draftiness of the place. The stone walls and windows (however few there were) seemed to leak cold air, and once inside, the chill permeated every inch of the space. I had taken to brewing pots of tea even when I wasn’t particularly thirsty and heating bed linens with warming irons to stave off the cold. I felt ridiculous for complaining though; the suite of rooms was far more expansive than any of the finest chambers on the Exodar or in Shattrath - and for far cheaper rent. In fact, it was the first time since my days in Nadja’s fortress that I had lived in a home with a second floor.
