You guys might be cursed, but Kendra's kicking butt.  She incurred 4 attacks of opportunity from thugs last round, and 3 of them were critical misses.  She also blew the aid other check out of the water for making Orin's next attack rock.

Assuming Oboe doesn't wreck him up first, that is.

Sadly, Drogar, the eidolon will not heal subdual damage at any rate.  He must receive healing from an outside source.  On the plus side, he remains on this plane of existence even if knocked unconscious, so you won't be denied your eidolon if he goes down - you'll just have to beg Banakil for a pick-me-up.  :)

I am a dumb. I didn't realize that using Intimidate like that is a Standard action. Ignore the Sunder Attempt, I suppose.

FYI, Demoralizing as part of an intimidate check is a standard action.  You would not be able to sunder a weapon in the same round.

Which is probably for the best anyway.  On top of the attack of opportunity the sunder would cause, even a small wooden weapon has a hardness of 5.  You wouldn't damage it anyway.

Unrelated note, these are typical farming instraments yes? Metal heads, but wooden handles?

Okay.  Everyone has a +1 to their to-hits from Banakil's bless.  This should last until the end of the battle.

Orin - it's the moment you've been waiting for.

From the back corner of the coffin near Ariam, what's the current enemy count/condition/activity within CeeRee's 30-foot vision range?

I forgot about the bless so

I forgot about the bless so that should be 19 for the hit roll. I think combat maneuver is something more akin to a skill roll but if not then 9 for that as well.

Also, sweet, looks like Scood's might be taking out another guy :).

Combat Manuver Basics

Combat manuvers let you do a variety of things, but they almost all come down to a simple roll:

1d20+CMB vs opponent's CMD.

This is an attack roll, and gets any special bonuses or penalties a normal attack roll would get (from buffs, debuffs, concealment, etc.)

Your goal is to equal or exceed the target's CMD with your roll, success means your manuver worked. In this case, if Scoodles succeeds, he'll knock his target prone.

Isn't the entire purpose of playing a blind character not to know what's going on in the battle?  :)

I'll see about battlemaps in the future.  For now, there are 2 active combatants left.  One of them is facing Henii at the top-left of the Coffin and the other is facing Scoodles, 15 feet away directly to the north of the coffin.

Yeah, that number is off.  I can't check your character sheet at the moment, as I'm on my tablet, but I'm certain that number, at the very least, does not include the flanking.

With +2, that's a hit.

Yay you won your first encounter yay.

OOC huddle

Alright guys, Orin can't be much help winning hearts and minds right at this moment until things shift a bit, but right now we have an entire group of thugs scared of us.

Our goal should be to make it an entire group of thugs who is scared of us because we're in the right and they're wrong, not because we're able to kick all their butts if they look at us funny.

They should be calm enough to listen to words now. We can also probably get bonuses by tending to the wounded guys we beat up, particularily Shoulders McBleedy. Use magic if you want, but the heal check to tend to the "Wounds" these guys have suffered shouldn't be more than DC 10, and might help win them over more.

We can leave the healing to

We can leave the healing to Ben. He could even do a Positive Energy burst to get any/everyone in range (Scoodles included). I can do the talking, but with the way the die roller goes for me, assists would be good (DC 10 Diplomacy check, not sure how many people can assist with this, but at least 1 could!)
